Camille Bateman Haight was born and raised in Sandy, Utah, as the seventh of eleven children. She grew up in a nurturing environment where she developed a deep appreciation for faith, family, and literature. As a mother of five daughters, and a fantasy fiction author, Camille hopes to impart these lessons to her own five daughters and the generations to come.

 

Her father instilled in her the belief that a compelling story can illuminate our darkest moments with hope, provoke thought, teach us valuable lessons, and forge sincere connections with its character. Camille is passionate about crafting narratives where characters transcend the page, becoming either cherished allies or formidable adversaries. No matter what type of realm she creates, Camille’s storytelling aims to evoke genuine emotional responses, whether through laughter or tears, and to captivate reader.
